Jeff Evans, Ph.D MCC
Jeff is co-founder and training consultant at Envision Coach Training. He is also CEO of Envision Global Leadership (EGL), a leadership assessments provider (LeaderNAVTM).
Jeff is a leading authority in leadership and transformation, practicing as an executive coach and leadership development consultant in the areas of leadership development, human systems change, and organizational capability. He has spent the past 25 years heavily involved in supporting executives through transformational change, organizational development, and the management of organizational development and education systems. His wide experience includes work as both an internal and external consultant, working in new organization designs and startups, large group change methodologies, and joint ventures and alliances in international and global settings. His client base has ranged from international executive teams to manufacturing management teams in retail, manufacturing, information technology, telecommunications, research and development, as well as oil and gas exploration.
Additionally, Jeff spends time developing training programs and standards for the coaching profession. He is co-designer and instructor at Envision Coach Training, has served as an exam assessor for the International Coach Federation (ICF), and is an ICF registered mentor coach. Additionally Jeff designed the coach training program CoachRice for the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University, delivered the pilot, and won them a swift approval from ICF.
Jeff is the author of the #1 best-selling book 'Inspirational Presence: The Art of Transformational Leadership' and co-author of 'Ten Tasks Of Change: Demystifying Changing Organization' as well as numerous papers and research studies. Jeff has been a key presenter at conferences in the areas of organization development, large scale change, and internal consulting support. He has authored numerous papers and research studies on learning organizations, leadership, training design, and training systems.
Jeff has degrees in education and social sciences, including a Ph.D. in Educational Human Resource Development from Texas A&M. He completed a 3 Year Post-Graduate track in organization development at the Gestalt Institute in Cleveland and has done post-doctoral work in behavioral systems, organizations, the psychology of group dynamics, and emotional intelligence. He is also a Master Certified Coach (MCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF), a Certified Hypnotherapist, and a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). He has developed and taught extension courses through UC Berkeley’s College of Business in Systems Thinking, Managing Change, and Consulting Skills.
During his professional career, Jeff has coached leaders of some of the largest corporations in the world, such as Chevron, the Gap, Clorox, and General Dynamics. Many of these lead global organizations spanning over 100 counties. He has also consulted on new organization designs and startups, large group change methodologies, and joint ventures and alliances in international and global settings. While he currently focuses on executive coaching in the Fortune 5, his client base has ranged from international executive teams to manufacturing management teams in retail, manufacturing, information technology, telecommunications, research and development, as well as oil and gas exploration.
