Mentor Coaching
The ICF
To Apply for an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification, as well as to renew an existing ICF ACC certification, all applicants are required to complete at least 10 hours of Mentor Coaching. At least 3 of those hours must be in a one-to-one format with a mentor coach and 7 of those hours may be in group mentoring sessions of no more than 10 participants.
Service Provided
The service Envision Coach Training provides the participant taking mentor coaching is defined by The International Coaching Federation (ICF) as “Providing professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency demanded by the desired credential level sought by a coach—applicant (mentee) i.e. offering coaching on coaching skill/competency development.”
Scope Provided
The scope of mentor coaching as defined by the ICF is as follows: “Mentor Coaching is providing professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency demanded by the desired credential level sought by a coach/applicant (mentee). Furthermore, Mentor Coaching means an applicant (mentee) being coached on their coaching skills rather than coaching on practice building, life balance, or other topics unrelated to the development of an applicant’s coaching skill.”

Expiration Dates
Group Mentor Coaching
Group mentor coaching sessions will expire 1 (one) calendar year from the purchase date. Group mentor coaching is held during specific time of the year and we cannot guarantee session dates beyond those published at the time of purchase. We strongly encourage reserving seats in the scheduled group mentor coaching as soon as purchased.
One-to-one Mentor Coaching
The participant’s one-to-one mentor coaching hours must be used during the period of 1 (one) calendar year from the purchase date. After that time period they will expire.

(Please note: While we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests for one-to-one mentoring sessions, as the expiration date draws near, we cannot be held responsible for the mentors’ lack of last-minute availability.)

Cancellations and Refunds
Group Mentor Coaching
If a Participant Cancels
At least 48 hours’ notice is required for group mentor coaching cancellation. If less than 48 hours are given, the session is forfeited.
If We Cancel
If, for any reason, Envision Coach Training cannot hold a scheduled group mentor coaching session, we will provide a session to take its place at a later date.
When We Don’t Give Replacements and Refunds
Envision Coach Training does not refund or replace group mentor coaching sessions in any of the following scenarios:
• If a participant cancels within 48 hours of the session time.
• If a participant is a ‘no show’ for any reason.
• If a participant tries to join 1 or more minutes after the scheduled session time and is ‘locked out’ of the session.
• If a participant has lost their registration confirmation email and does not have the session link.
• If a participant has technical issues and is unable to hear or see, be seen or heard in, the session, or is dropped from the session.
• If a participant’s background is noisy or distracting. We reserve the right to determine if this warrants cancelling attendance.
• If a participant comes to the session impaired due to consumption of alcohol, drugs or any other reason. We reserve the right to determine whether a participant’s behavior (i.e. slurred speech, incomprehensible speech, use of language or physical gesture) warrants cancelling attendance.
One-to-One Mentor Coaching
Time Slots
When we offer appointment days/times we may also offer those times to other participants or clients. While we do our best to work around participant’s schedules, we cannot hold slots open indefinitely and it is a ‘first to respond, first booked in’ system. The participant’s prompt reply for confirmation of chosen day/time will better guarantee getting it.
Connection Requirements
All one-to-one sessions are provided via an online platform that requires good Internet connection if the participant is using computer, or land line if they are going to call in.
Environment
We require that participants join from a quiet space when attending the sessions (i.e. no public spaces or noisy environments). If a participant’s background is noisy or distracting, we reserve the right to cancel their session.
Cancellations
Envision Coach Training has a 24-hour cancellation policy on all one-to-one sessions. If there is a cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled time or a no-show at the time, we do not reschedule that purchased time or reimburse payment.
Assignment Recordings
One-to-one mentor coaching requires the mentee to submit 30-minute coaching session recordings and signed client release forms prior to scheduling each session.
Client/Coachee Permission
The participant is required to obtain permission from clients/coachees to record assigned coaching sessions. We provide release forms for this purpose.
Keeping Time
The participant’s recorded coaching sessions must be approximately 30 minutes long. We do not accept recordings that are less than 27 minutes and more than 33 minutes, with no exceptions.
What to Record
Recorded coaching sessions must be entire sessions. Edited or partial sessions will not be accepted.
Recording Quality
We will not accept recordings that are inaudible or difficult to hear.
File Formats
We require digital audio files in one of the following formats: mp3, mp4, m4v, WAV, au, m4a
File Storage
We delete each recording from participants’ online Box folders as soon as each mentoring session is complete. It is the responsibility of the participant to store multiple copies of recordings if needed.

Our commitment is to create a safe, learning environment for our mentees to grow as coaches. We ask you to be as open and honest as you can be about your needs so that we can best support you. We will be unconditionally constructive within the parameters of our agreement. This is all about you succeeding.

We are deeply committed to providing support and professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency demanded for the credential level you seek through ICF. We bring all our skill, experience, and knowledge to the sessions. At the same time, the final decision about acting on this counsel and the responsibility for results achieved is entirely your own. We assume no responsibility for your business decisions or for policies, skills, or practices that you actually implement, and therefore make no guarantee that as a result of our mentoring you will obtain the credential level you are seeking.

Confidentiality
Envision Coach Training is meant to be a safe space to learn and grow in, with full understanding that the information shared with us, and between or about fellow students, is required to be held as confidential at all times.
Your Safety
Our mentee’s privacy is extremely important to us. We respect your willingness to be truthful and we will treat all information as a special confidence. We promise that all information provided to us will be kept strictly confidential.
Your Client’s Safety
The same confidentiality is afforded to your recorded clients/coaches for one-to-one sessions.
Safety in the Groups
While you are free to share your own personal learning journey with people outside the sessions, you must not share any information that you learn about the other mentees through any means. Anything said to you during the group mentor coaching sessions by any other participant must be kept completely confidential.

Rate Changes
If, at some point, our a la carte mentor coaching rates increase you will be asked to pay the new rate in effect at that time.
